Donations

We welcome your donations of quality items. Your generous donations will support FieldHaven’s programs, including our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) and other community programs for animals.

Clothing: We can only accept clothing in excellent condition. Be sure clothing is clean and folded in shopping bags or boxes or on hangers. We do not accept clothing in garbage bags.

Please do not drop off donations without checking first with staff or a volunteer.

Donations are tax-deductible. We will provide you with a donation receipt.

Unfortunately, we can’t always sell what comes in and sometimes the generosity exceeds our capacity. Through our partnership with local resource agencies, we are able to donate surplus goods to further help families in need. Sheets, towels, and blankets are accepted in any condition – items deemed unsellable are used at our shelter and/or other animal shelters. Donations of canned and/or dry dog or cat food are shared in the community for pet owners in need.

Where to Donate

We accept donations of small quantities during open hours. Please understand that we may not be able to take all the items you bring due to space limitations and the ability to sell some items.

For large items and larger quantities please email us with a general list of the items (photos are helpful) so that we can set up an appointment to receive them.

Animal Supplies: Pet supplies, pet food, horse tack & riding apparel, pet carriers & kennels, dog strollers, beds, etc.

Apparel: Accessories, clothing*, shoes, jewelry, watches

Home Goods: Antiques, collectibles, decorative pillows, furniture (call first), holiday décor, home & office décor, housewares, lamps, linens, quilts, small appliances (call first if larger)

Misc.: Books, CDs, DVDs, gardening equipment & tools, gently used sporting & camping goods, luggage, toys

Items Not Accepted for Safety/Hazardous/Sanitary Reasons: 

Children’s cribs; car seats; children’s strollers; helmets; opened cosmetics; lotions; soaps; personal pillows; cell phones; older televisions; computer monitors; screens; keyboards; firearms; fire extinguishers; mattresses; paint; varnish; motor oil; chemicals; perishable items; recalled items
