About Jocelyn Freeman

For Jocelyn Freeman, helping cats has always meant helping people, too. What she’s really passionate about is creating connections by bringing together donors, volunteers, community partners, and the animals they’re all working to save. With more than 20 years of experience in customer service, team leadership, and community engagement, Jocelyn has this great combination of creativity, empathy, and strategic thinking that she brings to everything she does.

As Development Director at FieldHaven Feline Center, she handles fundraising, donor relations, and special initiatives that don’t just support the organization’s lifesaving work but also make FieldHaven a stronger part of the community. Whether she’s putting together an event that people will remember, creating a campaign that really moves people to act, or building relationships that turn into lasting partnerships, Jocelyn’s always thinking about how to bring people together to help cats that need it.

Her whole approach to fundraising comes down to storytelling. She loves sharing the stories of the cats FieldHaven helps and showing donors exactly how their support makes a difference. She’s found that when people feel that emotional connection to a cause, there’s really no limit to their generosity.

When she’s not at work, Jocelyn loves staying creative and trying new things. She keeps active with regular workouts, experiments with new recipes in the kitchen, and travels to new places whenever she can. All of these experiences keep her creative and give her fresh perspectives that she brings back to her work at FieldHaven.

With her combination of heart, drive, and fresh thinking, Jocelyn is focused on making sure every cat in FieldHaven’s care gets the second chance they deserve and that every supporter feels like they’re truly part of that story.
